The special meaning behind Kat Dennings' £125K engagement ring

Two Broke Girls and Wandavision star Kat Dennings' got engaged to singer Andrew W.K last week, showing off a stunning engagement ring to her fans on Instagram. But what do we know about this gorgeous ring - how much is it worth, and what does it symbolise?

Diamond experts at Steven Stone took a close look at the huge rock, revealing it's one of the most unique celebrity pieces they've seen this year.

Engagement ring specialist, Max Stone, said: "Kat's ring is very impressive. From her photo's it looks to feature an emerald-cut centre stone, complimented by two trapezoid diamonds flanking each side.

"I'd say the centre diamond is three to four carats, whilst the large side stones are around one carat each. With that in mind, I'd give this a retail value of around £100,000 to £125,000"

"It's interesting that Kat opted for a three-stone ring, as these are becoming increasingly popular, especially with celebrities. Meghan Markle has a three-stone ring, along with Gwen Stefani."

_"It’s often said that the three stones represent the past, present and future that you will have together as a couple. Couples often choose them as they reflect your story and symbolise friendship, love, and fidelity."
