Meghan Markle flaunts £337k of jewellery in the trailer for her new Netflix show

Meghan Markle recently unveiled the trailer for her highly anticipated Netflix series, ‘With Love, Meghan’.

The eight-part series, which was produced by the Duchess herself, offers an intimate look into her life, showcasing her passions for cooking, gardening, and entertaining friends. Through this personal project, Meghan invites viewers into her world, sharing the things that bring her joy and fulfillment.

Not only does the trailer feature appearances from celebrities like Mindy Kaling and Abigail Spencer, but it also offers a close-up look at Meghan’s stunning jewellery collection.

Fine jewellery experts at UK retailer Steven Stone have meticulously analysed each piece, revealing that Meghan wears an impressive £337,226 ($421,759) worth of jewellery throughout the trailer.

Yellow Gold ‘Love’ Bracelet

Value: £7,050 ($8,760)

Meghan was also wearing a yellow gold ‘Love’ bracelet from Cartier. Created in New York in the 1970s, the close fitting, oval bracelet is an icon of jewellery design.

The closure is designed with two functional screws that are placed on either side of the bracelet. Passionate and unconditional, it seals intense romances.

Meghan’s bracelet retails at £7050.

Mini Bezel Tennis Bracelet

Value: £2,370 ($3,000)

Meghan is seen wearing a refined mini gold tennis bracelet, handcrafted from polished 18-karat yellow gold.

Designed by Jennifer Meyer, the ex-wife of actor Tobey Maguire, the piece is priced at $3,000.

Cartier Tank Française Watch

Estimated Value: £17,800 ($23,000)

Princess Diana was a lover of watches. When her marriage to Prince Charles began to unravel, she stopped wearing the Patek Philippe gold watch that Prince Charles had given to her on her 20th birthday. In its place, she frequently wore a classic Cartier Tank Louis on a black alligator strap, which was a gift from her father, Earl Edward John Spencer on her 21st birthday.

The Cartier Tank Louis wasn’t the only Tank watch that Princess Diana owned. On more formal occasions, she wore a gold Cartier Tank Française watch. Diana was spotted with the classic timepiece during a number of events – including a visit to London’s Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Hindu Temple in 1997 and an engagement at the British Lung Foundation that same year.

Pince Harry gifted his Mother’s elegant watch to Meghan, who also appears to place significance on it – in 2021, she wore it in a rare portrait of the couple that was released ahead of the couples episode of ‘Time100 Talks’.

Worth £17,800 ($23,000) at the time, the watch is now likely to be worth a lot more given its history.

Juste Un Clou Necklace

Value: £15,500 ($19,100)

Cartier is a renowned luxury brand known for its timeless and elegant jewellery pieces – and Meghan Markle has been spotted wearing their items on various occasions.

Meghan was wearing a yellow gold and diamond Juste un Clou necklace that’s set with 57 diamonds, totaling 0.20 carats.

It retails at £15,500.

Engagement Ring

Estimated Value: £120,000 ($150,000)

When Prince Harry proposed in 2017, he presented Meghan with a beautiful three stone engagement ring, featuring diamonds from Princess Diana’s jewellery collection.

Over 18 months later Meghan made some alterations to the ring, replacing the yellow gold band with a delicate diamond-studded band instead.

Prince Harry custom designed the ring which includes a centre cushion cut diamond, sourced from Botswana – a place that holds a special place in the couple’s hearts. Botswana diamond mining has contributed to transforming Botswana into one of Africa’s most prosperous countries, and Botswana diamond mines are dedicated to minimizing their environmental footprint.

The 3 carat stone is extremely high quality with incredible colour and clarity that’s flawless to the naked eye. The two round diamonds supporting the centre stone are from Princess Diana’s jewellery collection are around 0.5 to 0.75 carats each.

Wedding Band

Estimated Value: £10,000 ($12,500)

The wedding band Harry gave to Meghan was made of Welsh gold, gifted by the late Queen Elizabeth II. It was made from the same nugget of gold that was used to make her ring, along with Kate Middleton’s.

Prince Harry’s wedding band is crafted in platinum and has a textured surface. Both rings were made by Cleave & Company, the same jeweler who created Meghan’s three-stone diamond engagement ring.

Against Evil Eye Diamond Pave Bracelet

Value: £14,982 ($18,430)

Meghan was sporting an Against Evil Eye diamond pave bracelet from Lorraine Schwartz.

Lorraine Schwartz’s Against Evil Eye Collection has remained a staple among its wearers for nearly two decades. Believed to protect individuals from the envy of others, blue topaz and diamonds create Lorraine’s interpretation of the iconic motif in a variety of designs.

It’s not the first time that Meghan’s worn an ‘evil eye’ accessory and back in 2020, she debuted an Edge of Ember evil eye pendant. She wore this particular bracelet at a Vancouver Canucks hockey game in November 2023.

Made of 18K white gold, Meghan’s bracelet retails at £14,982.

Queen Emerald Cuban Choker

Value: £3,869 ($4,750)

Meghan can be seen wearing an emerald choker from Logan Hollowell, believed to be a tribute to her and Prince Harry’s son, Archie, as it features his birthstone.

The 14 carat solid gold choker features a pear-shaped Zambian emerald and retails at £3,869.

Meghan first wore the piece for the Archewell Foundation’s Parents’ Summit in New York in October 2023.

Pinky Ring

Estimated Value: £56,000 ($70,000)

Created by celebrity jeweller Lorraine Schwartz, Meghan’s pinky ring appears to feature a 3 carat emerald cut diamond in a solitaire setting.

Though there have been suggestions that the ring was gifted to Meghan by a mystery donor from the Middle East, its origin has never been confirmed. Thus, the ring has become a source of speculation – particularly since Meghan wore it on the cover of Time magazine in 2021. She’s since worn it at the 2023 Invictus Games.

The shape of the diamonds cut represents stability and strength, which is particularly fitting for Meghan who has faced a series of hardships since her and Prince Harry made the decision to withdraw from the royal family.

Our experts estimate the ring to be worth $70,000 (£56,000).

Constellation Ring

Value: £1,600 ($1,970)

Meghan is seen wearing a 14k gold and diamond constellation ring by Logan Hollowell.

The piece is a subtle tribute to her star sign, Leo, though she reportedly owns the Virgo constellation ring too.

Eternity Ring

Value: £80,000 ($100,000)

Meghan Markle’s eternity ring garnered attention from royal enthusiasts and fashion aficionados alike when she first showcased it at Trooping the Colour in 2019.

Positioned beside her wedding band and engagement ring, the eternity ring holds a special significance as it was a heartfelt gift from her husband, Prince Harry, commemorating their first wedding anniversary. However, what many may not realise is that this elegant band pays homage to their family in a unique way.

Crafted with conflict-free diamonds, the eternity ring features the birthstones of Meghan, Archie and Harry, discreetly placed on its underside – a captivating olive green peridot, a flawless green emerald and a striking blue sapphire, respectively.

Each of these birthstones carries its own symbolism and meaning; sapphires are believed to offer protection to loved ones, peridots are associated with empowerment, and emeralds symbolise renewal and affection, encapsulating the profound bond shared within their family.

Gold Double Knot Earrings

Estimated Value: £260 ($324)

While Meghan is often seen wearing high-end, valuable pieces, she also embraces more affordable accessories.

In the trailer, one of the standout budget-friendly pieces she wears is a pair of gold-plated knot earrings from Anine Bing. While the exact pair isn’t currently available on the designer’s website, a similar style retails for $324.

Chunky Diamond Drop Earrings

Estimated Value: £1,180 ($1,500)

Meghan’s double knot earrings aren’t the only pieces she sports from Anine Bing. She’s also seen wearing a pair of elevated hoop earrings, crafted from solid 14k gold.

The striking hoops feature rows of pavé natural diamonds and a removable ball charm in hollow 14k gold. While they’re currently unavailable on the designer’s website, they are reportedly priced at $1,500.

Diamond Leaf Earrings

Value: £2,090 ($2,650)

Meghan flaunted some baguette diamond leaf studs from Luna Skye – a pair of earrings that she’s worn on multiple notable occasions.

She previously showcased them at the Invictus Games in 2023, as well as during her August 2024 CBS Morning Show interview with Prince Harry.

They’re listed on the designers website for $2,650.

Diamond Hex Bracelet

Value: £4,310 ($5,500)

Meghan is clearly a fan of stacking bracelets, and one of the standout pieces she wears in the trailer is the Diamond Hex Tennis Bracelet from Ariel Gordon.

The exquisite piece features over 1.5 carats of round brilliant-cut diamonds set within solid gold hexagon-shaped link.

Royal Signet Studs

Value: £215 ($275)

Meghan was also spotted wearing a pair of stud earrings from Ariel Gordon.

Crafted from high-polished gold, the Royal Signet studs strike the perfect balance between simplicity and sophistication – ideal for everyday wear yet bold enough to make a statement.

“Meghan Markle recently unveiled the trailer for her highly anticipated Netflix series, offering an intimate look into her personal style – along with a captivating glimpse of her exquisite jewellery collection.

Unsurprisingly, the most valuable piece she flaunts is her breathtaking £120k three-stone engagement ring, which features diamonds from Princess Diana’s personal jewellery collection. Following closely is her £80k eternity ring – a deeply sentimental piece that subtly incorporates the birthstones of Meghan, Archie, and Harry on its underside, symbolizing their close-knit family bond.

After meticulously analysing each piece, I can reveal that Meghan wears an impressive £337,226 ($421,759) worth of jewellery throughout the trailer, showcasing an extraordinary blend of elegance and luxury.”
