Emily Atack and Alistair Garner are officially engaged! The exciting news comes just over a year after the couple welcomed their baby boy, Barney, in June 2024.
The ‘Inbetweeners’ star shared the announcement on Instagram on Friday, 18th July, posting a heartwarming photo alongside a nod to The Cure’s ‘Friday I’m In Love’. In the picture, a glowing Emily is seen hugging Alistair and proudly showing off her stunning diamond ring in a garden setting.
Engagement ring experts at UK retailer Steven Stone have taken a closer look at the sparkler, uncovering its symbolic meaning, design details, and estimated value.

I’d estimate the ring’s value at approximately $35,000 – modest by celebrity standards. For comparison, the most valuable engagement ring of 2025 so far is Natalie Viscuso’s $1 million oval-cut diamond from Henry Cavill.”
