Everybody is talking about the Barbie World Premiere and we can’t get over the FOUR diamond necklaces that Margot Robbie was flaunting.
Last night, the world premiere of the ‘Barbie’ movie took place in LA and Margot Robbie dazzled in another Barbie-inspired outfit.
Wearing a black strapless Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown, Manolo Blahnik heels and Lorraine Schwartz jewellery, the Australian actress was paying homage to the Solo in the Spotlight Barbie, which hit the shelves in the 1960s.
Leading diamond experts at Steven Stone have taken a close look at Margot’s necklaces, revealing everything you need to know – including how much they’re likely to be worth.
It’s safe to say that Margot Robbie has fully committed to the press tour for the upcoming ‘Barbie’ movie. With the help of stylist Andrew Mukamal, she’s delivered a series of iconic Barbie looks that pay tribute to the popular fashion doll that was launched in 1959.
Though we were stunned by the actresses entire outfit at the movies world premiere, it was the diamonds around her neck that really caught our eye.
Margot was wearing four diamond necklaces, which were custom made by Lorraine Schwartz. While the top two necklaces consist of purely round cut diamonds, which is the most popular diamond shape, the bottom two necklaces feature a variety of diamond cuts.
The most interesting of the four is the bottom piece, which consists of halo cut diamonds in an assortment of cuts – including emerald, heart, pear, marquise and oval.
According to our experts, Margot was likely to have been wearing around $1 million worth of diamonds around her neck!
