Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne were married for over four decades, becoming one of the UK’s most recognisable couples after their chaotic home life was thrust into the spotlight in their 2002 reality series, ‘The Osbournes’.
This month marked what would have been their 43rd wedding anniversary – a bittersweet milestone made even more memorable by their daughter Kelly’s engagement to Slipknot’s Sid Wilson during the Back to the Beginning concert, an emotional evening that also served as Ozzy’s farewell to live performance after decades on stage.
Jewellery often serves as a cherished reminder of loved ones we’ve lost. In light of Ozzy’s recent passing, diamond experts at Steven Stone took a closer look at Sharon Osbourne’s original wedding ring – a deeply personal piece from her beloved Prince of Darkness.

“Sharon’s original wedding ring is truly a showstopper. Expertly crafted in white gold by Tiffany & Co., the piece showcases a stunning 10-carat round-cut diamond as its centerpiece.
The band features a distinctive sweeping, bypass design that gracefully curves around the central stone, creating a fluid and contemporary silhouette. Smaller round diamonds are intricately set into the band – likely in a pavé or channel setting – adding brilliance and enhancing the ring’s overall sense of luxury and sophistication.
In 2004, the ring was stolen during a break-in, leaving her heartbroken. Remarkably, a fan spotted it on Crimewatch and alerted Kelly via Twitter, leading to its recovery by police and Sharon’s emotional reunion with the treasured piece seven years later.
High-quality diamonds like this tend to appreciate over time, so while Ozzy reportedly paid $260,000 for the ring, its current value is likely closer to $500,000.”
