Pearl Ring

Estimated Value: $5,000 (£4,000)

Created by Jacqui Aiche to celebrate his Superbowl performance, Usher was wearing a huge gold ring, set with a pearl in a diamond studded bezel – with their timeless elegance and natural allure, pearls have long symbolised purity, sophistication, and grace, captivating admirers across cultures and generations.

The performer’s full name – “Usher Raymond IV” – lies below the row of diamonds, with a diamond accentuating each end, alongside the words “Super Bowl LVIII.”

On one side of the ring, there’s an inscription reading “2024 Half Time” accompanied by a football motif. On the opposite side, a design resembling the Vince Lombardi trophy is featured, topped with a marquise cut diamond in place of a football. Atop the phrase “Super Bowl,” the Roman numeral LVIII completes the ornamentation.

Initial Pendant

Estimated Value: $300,000 (£237,000)

Usher’s performance was further accentuated by a ‘U’ initial pendant from American entrepreneur and jeweller, Benny Da Jeweler.

Throughout his career, the R&B star has maintained a signature accessory in the form of an initial pendant, reflecting his personal style and identity. He frequently switches them out to mirror various phases or milestones in his life and career.

Crafted from white gold, the pendant boasts over 100 carats of VVS quality diamonds, mixed with pearls. High quality with very small inclusions, a VVS diamond is the closest to being internally flawless.

In an Instagram post thanking Usher and his team for the opportunity and trust, Benny revealed that the pendant cost $300,000 to make.

Phoenix Brooch

Estimated Value: $100,000 (£79,000)

When Usher hit the stage, he was wearing a bejeweled multi-layer white Dolce & Gabbana look. Displayed on his jacket was a huge crystal brooch in the shape of a Phoenix.

Fashioned from presumably the finest diamonds, the item was adorned with a ruby stones. Often used in high-end jewellry designs, rubies are a symbol of wealth and luxury.

A mythical bird rising from its own ashes, the phoenix symbolises resilience, renewal and the eternal cycle of life and death. It’s a poignant choice for Usher, who has just embarked on the next phase of his career with the release of his latest album, ‘Coming Home’.

“Usher has consistently been renowned for his penchant for adorning himself with lavish jewellery – a signature style that adds a touch of opulence to his persona.

During his Superbowl half time show, he wore an array of jewels – including a new variation of his iconic ‘U’ pendant. From Benny Da Jeweler, the pendant was crafted from white gold and boasts over 100 carats of VVS quality diamonds, mixed with pearls. Benny revealed on his Instagram that it cost $300,000 to make.

While he donned gloves for part of his performance, the R&B sensation also showcased a gold ring from American Jewellery brand, Jacquie Aiche. Set with a pearl in a diamond studded bezel, the huge piece features Usher’s full name, details of this years Superbowl and a design resembling the Vince Lombardi trophy, topped with a marquise cut diamond in place of a football. I’d estimate it to be worth around $5,000.

The superstar often incorporates brooches into his ensemble and opted for a remarkably attention-grabbing one from Dolce & Gabbana for his Superbowl appearance. Fashioned from presumably the finest diamonds, the phoenix shaped brooch is adorned with rubies. Long associated with rebirth, it’s a poignant choice for Usher, who has just embarked on the next stage of his career with the release of his ninth album. Though it’s difficult to put a price on such an extravagant piece, I’d estimate it to be worth around $100,000.

Taking all of this into consideration, Usher was highly likely to be sporting over $400,000 worth of jewels during his performance at this year’s Superbowl.”
