Season 3 of ‘Love Is Blind’ is out on Netflix right now, and it’s got everyone talking.
The reality dating show where single men and women look for love and get engaged upon their first meeting has taken the world by storm, and got fans asking a countless number of questions.
And, while many are curious about who stayed together after the show finished, we couldn’t help but wonder where the 10 incredible engagement rings came from, what happens to them if the couples break up, and how much they could they be worth?
After doing a little digging, it turns out that the cast get to choose an engagement ring from a prepared selection.
‘Love is Blind’ creator Chris Coelen told Variety that most of the cast do not come with their own rings, saying “If they want to propose and want to have a ring to give, we provide — up to a certain level — a ring for them to do that with. If they choose to do that, we actually give choices. There are, like, 10 or 12 different styles and colors. It’s up to them, they don’t have to. There’s no pressure to do that.”
In a bid to find out more about the rings, jewellery experts at Steven Stone always watch in close detail. While it was impossible to get a detailed glimpse of all of last season’s rings, during episode 5, Iyanna revealed her incredible ring during an intimate conversation with Jarrette.
“Although it’s really difficult to get a detailed look of the rings when watching the show, Iyanna gave us a really good close up of hers in season two. Her engagement ring looked to feature a 2ct oval diamond on a pave set band – a ring like this could have a value of around $30,000.
Using Iyanna’s ring as an example, the ten engagement rings could be worth more than $300k when their value is combined. We can’t wait to see the rings from season three!”
