Kylie Jenner swept fans off their feet last night as she unveiled a photo of two incredible diamond rings.
Reported to be a gift from Travis Scott, one of the rings belongs to the couple’s three year old daughter, Stormi.
Boasting two diamonds, the sparklers are toi et moi rings. Though Stormi’s ring is smaller than Kylie’s, it’s still bigger than most peoples engagement rings.
Leading diamond experts at Steven Stone have analysed the rings, revealing everything you need to know.
What are Toi Et Moi rings?
Toi et moi rings date way back to 1796, when Napoleon Bonaparte proposed to Josephine de Beauharnais with a huge diamond and sapphire ring, featuring two impressive rocks.
If you aren’t fluent in French and are wondering what ‘toi et moi’ actually means, it has a meaningful translation: ‘you and me’, which might just convince you to hop on board.
A toi et moi ring features a coiled band, with two stones nestled side by side where it meets around the finger. The style represents the special connection between two people – in this case, Travis and Kylie, as well as Travis and Stormi.
About Kylie & Stormi’s rings…
Both rings feature a radiant cut diamond and a pear cut diamond.
Stormi’s miniature ring has two 1ct diamonds and could hold a value of anywhere between $50,000 to $100,000.
Kylie’s ring features two magnificent 10ct diamonds, which would be worth $2 million on today’s market
The diamonds look to be VVS2 clarity, which means they of incredibly high quality, with no visible flaws or inclusions.
