It’s common knowledge that the majority of people worldwide are fascinated by Taylor Swift and the press meticulously cover every action taken by the acclaimed musician.
One thing that never fails to captivate us is Taylor’s choice of jewellery, which she frequently uses to express her emotions and honour her loved ones.
We’re obsessed with Taylor’s latest piece, which is a diamond watch choker that she can be seen wearing in her recently released music video with Post Malone. Though it’s not the first time that Taylor’s worn a watch choker and she actually ignited the trend back at the Grammy’s in February of this year.
Fine jewellery experts at UK retailer Steven Stone have taken a closer look at both chokers, revealing everything there is to know.
The Grammy’s Choker
Estimated Value: $70,000 (£56,300)
Taylor walked the 2024 Grammys red carpet in a black-and-white Schiaparelli ensemble and accessorised with 300 carats of Lorraine Schwartz diamonds – including a bespoke watch that had been turned into a choker.
The vintage watch hails from the Concord brand, who are renowned as one of the premier luxury timepiece brands during the first half of the previous century.
The watch face features a classic white dial and square design, sat on a strap that’s crafted from sparkling black stones.
The ‘Fortnight’ Choker
Estimated Value: $120,000 (£96,500)
In the music video for Taylor’s latest single ‘Fortnight’, she can be seen wearing an elegant diamond watch choker.
Courtesy of New York jewellers Joseph Saidian & Sons, the piece boasts a chunky diamond watch suspended from a blush-toned velvet choker.
