Amanda Holden is the latest celebrity to showcase a dazzling new engagement ring on her social media, with reports revealing that it was a Christmas gift from her record producer husband, Chris Hughes.
Diamond experts at UK retailer Steven Stone have closely examined the stunning new ring, revealing all the details, including how it measures up to Amanda’s original engagement ring.
“Since the festive season, Amanda has been flaunting a stunning new engagement ring featuring a 6-7 carat oval-cut diamond, set in a platinum head with a hidden halo. The impressive diamond is mounted on a yellow gold band.
Often associated with unity and eternity because of its continuous, rounded form, oval cut stones represent a never-ending bond – making it the perfect choice for Amanda, who celebrated her 16th wedding anniversary to Chris last month.
In contrast, her first engagement ring was more modest, featuring a 2.5 carat emerald-cut diamond, I’d estimate it to be worth around £40,000. Her new ring, however, is likely to be worth around £200,000 – over four times the price of her original.”

After reviewing her entire collection, our experts estimated its value to exceed a staggering £32,000,000.
Hailey Bieber
When Hailey got engaged to Justin Bieber in 2018, her oval-shaped diamond ring left us in awe. With an estimated carat weight of 6-10, our experts valued it at around $500,000.
In 2022, Hailey opted for a more modest style, upgrading to a 2-carat cushion-cut diamond set in a solitaire setting. we estimated it to be worth $15,000 – an astonishing $485,000 less than her original.
However, good things come in threes, and in March 2024, Hailey showed off a third ring, reportedly a gift from Justin to celebrate their vow renewal. The breathtaking sparkler features a massive 12-carat oval-cut diamond set in a solitaire style on what appears to be a yellow gold band. As her most impressive ring yet, we estimated its value to be a staggering $1.5 million.
