People are definitely having a lot more fun with their fashion – and couples are using wedding dress codes to ensure that their guests are part of the vibe of the day!
Whether it’s an all-white dress code to ensure a brightly coloured wedding dress stands out, or picking hues that complement the colour scheme, guests are increasingly becoming part of the wedding aesthetic – so check the invite for details before you start shopping for your look!
What wedding dress trends will brides be following?
We are still seeing bows and puff sleeves being popular, but as we move towards 2026, sleeker silhouettes will take over.
Corset style bodices, drop waists and classic lace are all making a comeback, for the nearlyweds who love the classic look!
But the biggest wedding trends of 2025 will definitely be the mini dress and the tuxedo! This fun, party-inspired vibe will be everywhere at weddings this year and I’m here for it.

The biggest wedding trends of 2025 centre around photography and content! Content creators are going to be everywhere this year, as is film and flash-style photography.
I’m also seeing more couples than ever investing in videography, as people want to remember every aspect of their wedding day and from every possible vantage point.
Will there be any major shifts in wedding traditions in 2025?
We are seeing people become more creative with how they take on traditions – whether that’s re-thinking taking on your partner’s name, instead merging or double barrelling, skipping the bouquet toss and the first dance, or walking down the aisle together or with both your parents.
Couples are rewriting the rules and making sure what they do at their wedding serves them as a couple, and I for one could not be more excited about this new phase of weddings!
