Interestingly, the halo doesn’t follow the outline of the pear; instead, the diamonds are set in the shape of a marquise cut. Though it’s uncommon for someone to wear a regular ring on that finger, it’s not unheard of – many celebrities have sparked engagement rumours by making the same fashion choice.

Set in platinum, Amanda Bynes’ three-stone engagement ring featured a striking emerald-cut center stone, estimated to weigh between 7 and 10 carats. The design, with its vintage Art Deco influences, was both timeless and luxurious.
