Emily Ratajkowski has split her engagement ring into two

Emily Ratajkowski and producer Sebastian Bear-McClard had a whirlwind romance of just just six weeks before they tied the knot in 2018.

Since then, the model and producer have welcomed their son, Sylvester Apollo – now three years old – into the world.

Sadly, Emily filed for divorce from Sebastian in 2022, following claims that he’d cheated on her.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday 19th March 2024, Emily posted a series of snaps that unveiled the innovative step she’s taken with her former engagement ring – and experts at Steven Stone couldn’t wait to take a good look.

Sebastian originally proposed with a paper clip bent into a circle, and it wasn’t until after the wedding that Emily’s stunning engagement ring was finally designed. The pair picked out a stunning two-stone diamond ring on a yellow gold band.

Estimated to be worth £62,000 and featuring a 2-carat, princess-cut diamond and 3-carat, pear-shaped diamond, it’s classic with a modern, unconventional twist.

“To celebrate her divorce, Emily Ratajkowski has split her engagement ring from Sebastian Bear-McClard into two sizeable rings. When the couple got engaged in 2018, we estimated the models sparkler to be worth $80,000 (£63,000). Classic with a modern, unconventional twist, the toi et moi ring featured a 2ct princess cut diamond and 3ct pear shaped diamond, sat on a yellow gold band.

For her first ring, Emily appears to have incorporated her 2ct princess cut diamond into a three stone setting. This is an interesting choice as three stone rings tend to represent a couples past, present and future. A modern perspective on the setting regards the three stones as symbolising friendship, love, and fidelity – a reflection more fitting to Emily’s circumstances considering the grounds for her divorce. I’d estimate this ring to be worth $50,000 (£40,000).

The second ring boasts a pear cut diamond in a solitaire setting, sat on a yellow gold band – though the stone looks bigger than the 3ct from Emily’s original ring. The unique and unmistakable shape of pear cut stones symbolise empowerment, individuality and independence – making this a poignant accessory for Emily as she moves forward with her life. I’d estimate it to be worth $80,000 (£63,000).”
