A huge congratulations are in order for Adele, who has announced her engagement to Rich Paul.
Known for her big personality, the singer made the announcement in classic Adele style. During a recent show in Munich, she responded to a fan’s marriage proposal by saying, “I can’t marry you because I’m already getting married,” while holding up her ring for all to see.
Rumours have been swirling ever since she wore a flashy ring on THAT finger at the BRIT Awards back in 2022—a ring that bears a striking resemblance to the one she recently flashed in Munich.
Engagement ring experts at UK retailer Steven Stone have done some research into whether it is in fact the same sparkler.
While we don’t have a close-up of Adele’s ring from Munich, it’s unmistakable that it features a massive pear-cut diamond in a classic solitaire setting.
Upon closer inspection of the ring Adele wore at the BRITs, it also features a pear-cut diamond in a solitaire setting – an impressive 12-carat stone, no less. The substantial diamond is set on a pave diamond band, adding even more brilliance to the piece.
Our experts estimate the dazzling ring to be worth an astounding $1.5 million (£1.1 million). Given that celebrity engagement rings are typically associated with such high price tags, this only fuels speculation that it might indeed be Adele’s engagement ring from Rich. Otherwise, it’s an extraordinary sum to spend on a ring intended for everyday wear.
