Back in March, JLo announced her engagement to Ben Affleck, a whopping 19 years after their first break up – showcasing a HUGE green diamond engagement ring that diamond experts at Steven Stone valued at $3,000,000 (£2,600,000).
In her latest newsletter, JLo has confirmed that she wed the ‘Gone Girl’ actor over the weekend at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas, wearing a simple white dress.
Signed ‘Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck’, the newsletter included candid selfies of the newlyweds and a video of the couple preparing for their special day, including one of Ben getting ready inside the chapel’s bathroom and photos of JLo in her wedding dress.
She’s since shared a rare photo of herself lay in bed, make up free, showing off her wedding ring with the caption: “Sadie! #iykyk Go to OnTheJLo for all the deets. #linkinbio“
Taking a close look at the ring, our leading diamond expert, Zack Stone identified the ring to be a 2mm platinum band, with an estimated value of $2,000 (£1,700).
“Jennifer Lopez’s elegant wedding ring is a 6mm platinum band that looks to be worth around $2,000 (£1,700) – though when compared to her engagement ring from Ben Affleck, it’s a fairly simple band, it perfectly matches the simple wedding that the couple went for.
Jennifer’s sensational engagement ring isn’t quite as simple – with an incredibly vivid colour, it looks like it could be a natural green diamond that’s been enhanced using HPHT temperature treatment, which is a well known method to change the colour of a diamond.
Just like the pink diamond engagement ring she received from Ben Affleck previously, her latest engagement ring is worth millions. The centre stone is an estimated 9 to 10 carats, with an elongated cushion cut. From the images of the ring, it also looks like it features two tapered baguettes, making it a three stone ring.
Taking all of this into consideration, Jennifer’s latest engagement ring from Ben is no doubt the most expensive engagement ring we’ve seen in a long time – and definitely the most expensive celebrity engagement ring of 2022, so far – with an estimated value of over $3,000,000 (£2,600,000).”
