Margot Robbie has replicated another Barbie look – and she was wearing A LOT of pearls

Everybody is talking about the latest ‘Barbie’ premiere and based on the stunning pearls that Margot Robbie was showing off alone, we can’t say that we’re surprised!

Last night, the London premiere of the upcoming movie took place at Leicester Square and Margot Robbie dazzled in yet another Barbie-inspired outfit, which included a huge three strand pearl choker and matching earrings.

Fine jewellery experts at Steven Stone have taken a close look at Margot’s pearls, revealing everything you need to know – including how much they’re likely to be worth.

The Barbie press tour has seen Margot Robbie recreate one iconic Barbie look after another over the past couple of weeks – just a few days ago, she paid homage to the Solo in the Spotlight Barbie in a black strapless gown and $1 million worth of diamond necklaces.

Impressing once again, last night saw the Australian actress pay homage to the Enchanted Evening Barbie at the films London premiere. Draped in a pale pink satin dress by Vivienne Westwood, Margot accessorised with a huge three strand pearl choker and matching earrings – both of which feature cultured pearls, which are real pearls that have been cultivated by pearl farmers under controlled conditions.

Only a very small percentage of pearls used for jewellery are natural, with most of them being cultured. Cultured pearls possess all the qualities of lustre and hardness of natural pearls and tend to have a more consistent shape.

Taking into account that cultured pearls are considerably more affordable than natural pearls due to the fact that they’re more common and also easier to produce in high quality, our experts estimate Margot’s choker and necklace to be worth a total of $40,000.
