Signet rings have a huge history – the timeless pieces have been worn by everyone from kings and emperors to modern-day princesses. They’re beautiful and sentimental pieces that can instantly become family heirlooms, and can even be worn as engagement rings or as part of a wedding set.
Signet rings are often given or received to mark a special occasion, serving as lasting reminders of significant milestones. With the engraved initials ‘T’ and ‘H,’ it’s clear that Zendaya’s gold signet ring symbolises her deep connection and commitment to Tom.
“In a series of Instagram videos from Zendaya’s manicurist, the actress can be seen sporting a gold circular signet ring that features an engraved ‘T’ and ‘H’ – her boyfriend, Tom Holland’s initials.
Though fans of the A-List couple are patiently waiting for Zendaya to be wearing a ring on THAT finger, her signet ring is just as romantic.
Often worn as engagement rings or as part of a wedding set, signet rings tend to recall a milestone or special event in a person’s life. Since Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made their romance official in October 2023, the public has been buzzing about their relationship.
The superstar piqued everyone’s curiosity when she wore a bracelet to an American football game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens in Maryland in January 2024.
Taylor is known for expressing her sentiments through her choice of jewellery, and this was certainly the case with the personalized diamond tennis bracelet she wore. Designed by Michelle Wie West, the bracelet featured the couple’s initials, making it a beautiful and meaningful symbol of their connection.
“Crafted from 14k yellow gold, Taylor’s bracelet is set with sparkling lab-grown diamonds and features the initials ‘TNT’ for Taylor and Travis. Though there’s also the obvious connection to dynamite, which their relationship definitely is.
Lab-grown diamonds offer the brilliance of diamonds in a more sustainable and ethical way. In 2023, 57% of diamonds sold at Steven Stone were lab-grown. Most months of the year saw higher sales in lab-grown diamonds and natural diamonds.
Adding further sentimentality to the piece, the couples relationship actually sparked thanks to a bracelet. When attending one of Taylor’s shows in July 2023, Travis attempted to exchange a friendship bracelet with her. It’s incredibly romantic to think that they’ve gone from beads to diamonds!

Hailey and Justin Bieber are undoubtedly one of the world’s most talked-about celebrity couples. With their undeniable talent, beauty, and impeccable taste in jewellery, they never fail to capture attention.
Since August 2023, the model and media personality began sporting a necklace that quickly became one of her favourite accessories. Likely a tribute to both her and her husband Justin Bieber’s surname, the necklace features a ‘B’ initial pendant in a playful bubble font, adding a personal touch to her collection.
“Hailey Bieber is quite the trendsetter, so it’s no surprise that bubble initial necklaces started to pop up online left and right since she started wearing one.
Likely to be a tribute to hers and her husband Justin Bieber’s surname, the necklace features a ‘B’ initial pendant in a bubble font, that’s encrusted with rows of sparkly pavé diamonds.
The necklace was designed by Alex Moss and it isn’t the first time that he’s designed a piece for the model and media personality, he also designed matching mushroom necklaces for her and Justin’s five-year wedding anniversary.
In the days after Hailey flaunted the necklace in an Instagram reel, searches for bubble initial necklaces reached peak popularity on Google.
Hailey’s necklace is a substantial piece, so I’d estimate it to be worth around $50,000.”

Walt Disney’s Oscars Bracelet

In the early 1960s, Walt Disney crafted a gold bracelet for his beloved wife, Lilly, as a heartfelt tribute to the Academy Awards he had won up until that time.
The bracelet not only symbolized his career achievements but also the journey they had shared together, with Lilly by his side every step of the way. It was a deeply romantic gesture, a reflection of both his success and the love that had supported him throughout.
“In the realm of Hollywood legends, Walt Disney’s name shines brightly – and so does the bracelet that he had made for his wife in the early 1960s.
Celebrating his Academy Award wins, the 18k gold bracelet features 20 miniature statuettes. Sat at 1 inch tall, each statuette is engraved on the bottom with the name of the honoree, the film that it honours and the year that the film was released.
The bracelet served as a profoundly sentimental gesture, expressing gratitude to his wife for her pivotal contribution to his success. Throughout their marriage, Lily offered Walt unwavering support, insightful feedback and the encouragement needed to pursue his visionary dreams.

We all know that Kanye West loves to express his creative side through his music, but he also had a tendency to show it when he was giving gifts to Kim Kardashian during their relationship.
Back in 2020, he gifted Kim a gold vintage Cartier necklace on a simple chain. The sentimental piece that was etched with a photo of the couple’s home at the time, as well as a text message that he once sent to her: “This your life / Married with four kids / Get people out of jail / Cover of Vogue / Go to church every week with your family / Dreams come true”

As a heartfelt token of appreciation, she gifted him the ring that matchs hers to thank him for his unwavering support throughout her pregnancy and the birth of their daughter.

We know, Kate Middleton is a royal, not a celebrity, but we couldn’t overlook this symbolic piece of jewellery as it truly makes our hearts soar.
While Kate’s engagement ring is undoubtedly her most iconic piece, it wasn’t the first ring she received from Prince William. During their university days, the love-struck Prince gifted Kate a promise ring, which she wore on her middle finger.
Set on a rose gold Victorian band, the ring features two garnets – Kate’s birthstone for January – and pearls to represent William’s birthstone for June. This simple yet stunning ring is filled with personal significance, symbolising the love between Prince William and Kate through their birthstones.
“This ring reveals a lot about Prince William and Kate Middleton’s relationship and their personalities. Gifted to Kate by William during their time at University, it’s no doubt very sentimental and while Kate has a very high value jewellery collection, this particular piece is priceless.
Design wise, it looks to be from the Victorian era, from the late 1800’s and is most likely set on a 15ct gold band, which is what they used at the time.
Though it’s probably worth no more than £2,000, it’s one of our favourite pieces from Kate’s collection thanks to the beautiful symbolism that it holds.”

Rihanna is renowned for her penchant for stunning jewellery, with memorable moments like her Super Bowl performance ensuring that we never forget her dazzling adornments.
During the launch of her new Fenty x PUMA trainer at London’s Tobacco Dock in April 2024, she was donning a platinum ring. Nameplate-style, similar to her “Mom” ring, it displays the word “Grim” and is decorated with round cut diamonds.
In an interview, Rihanna revealed that the chunky piece belongs to A$AP Rocky – a poignant tribute, ensuring that he remained with her, even in his absence.

Kylie Jenner’s Toi Et Moi Ring

Kylie Jenner swept fans off their feet in 2021 when she unveiled a photo of two incredible diamond rings.
Reported to be a gift from Travis Scott, one of the rings belongs to their daughter, Stormi.
Featuring two sparkling diamonds side by side, the rings are classic toi et moi designs – a style that symbolises the deep connection between two people. In this case, Kylie’s beautifully represented the bond that her and Travis shared at the time.
“Kylie’s toi et moi ring features two magnificent 10ct diamonds, which would be worth $2 million on today’s market
A toi et moi ring features a coiled band, with two stones nestled side by side where it meets around the finger. The style represents the special connection between two people – in this case, Kylie’s beautifully represented the bond that her and Travis shared at the time.
The diamonds look to be VVS2 clarity, which means they of incredibly high quality, with no visible flaws or inclusions.”

Drake’s Engagement Ring Necklace

In 2022, Drake revealed a dazzling tribute to his past romances – a custom diamond necklace representing all the women he once considered proposing to but never did.
The Grammy-winning rapper debuted the extraordinary piece at Lil Baby’s birthday concert in Atlanta, held at State Farm Arena. Designed by renowned New York-based celebrity jeweller Alex Moss, the necklace is an absolute showstopper, featuring 42 engagement ring stones and an astonishing 351.38 carats of diamonds.
Both sentimental and romantic, the necklace serves as a dazzling tribute to the loves that shaped his past and the proposals that never were.
“Drake’s ‘Previous Engagements’ necklace is a magnificent piece of jewellery. At the time, it was probably the most impressive we’d seen since Kendrick Lamar wore his diamond crown of thorns headpiece during his Glastonbury headline set that same year.
Made up of 42 diamonds from engagement rings Drake thought about giving to women but ultimately decided against, the necklace totals 351.38 carats and features multiple diamond shapes – including round, emerald, princess cuts.
Central to the intricate piece is a pear cut diamond. Pear cut diamonds are a timeless, vintage cut that represent an emotional bond or connection – suggesting that the rapper is keen to pay homage to his failed relationships with the piece, rather than spite them.
It’s difficult to estimate a striking piece like this, particularly without information about the quality, but it looks to be worth approximately $12.5 million.”
