How Kate Middleton honours Prince William even without her engagement ring

Since Kate Middleton announced she was in remission, many have noticed that she has opted not to wear her engagement ring at several public events.

However, despite this, it’s impossible to overlook how she continues to honor Prince William with other meaningful rings, subtly keeping their bond close to her heart.

Kate Middleton has been spotted wearing three stunning eternity rings. Though only one of these was a gift from Prince William – to celebrate the birth of their first child – the other two are also believed to be from the prince.

Leading diamond experts at UK retailer Steven Stone have taken a close look at the three rings that total approximately £7,200, revealing everything there is to know.

Kate’s Diamond Eternity Ring

Estimated value: £1,500 ($2,000)

Prince William gifted the mother of his children an eternity ring following the birth of their son, Prince George. This pave-set eternity band now rests alongside her iconic sapphire engagement ring and Welsh gold wedding band.

In 2014, after fans speculated the ring might be from Annoushka and reached out to the jeweler, it was confirmed that Kate’s ring is the Eclipse eternity ring. Made from 18ct white gold with a high polish finish, it is hand-set with 0.23ct diamonds and is priced at £1,500.

Kate’s Slim Diamond Band

Estimated value: £1,000

Currently, Kate’s slim white diamond band remains unidentified, sparking curiosity among fans and jewellery enthusiasts alike.

However, when compared to her other diamond eternity ring, it is believed to be valued at approximately £1,000. The delicate design and subtle elegance suggest it is a thoughtfully chosen piece, complementing her other rings while maintaining a refined simplicity.

Kate’s Sapphire & Diamond Band

Estimated value: £4,700

Royal enthusiasts were quick to recognise Kate’s diamond and sapphire band as the Étincelle de Cartier wedding band.

This exquisite piece showcases 19 brilliant-cut diamonds, totaling 0.24 carats, alongside 19 brilliant-cut sapphires, totaling 0.34 carats. The band retails at £4,700.

The more casual alternative to the royal’s iconic sapphire-and-diamond engagement ring is believed to have been a gift from William to celebrate the couple’s 13th wedding anniversary, which fell on 29th 2024, as last year was the first time we saw Kate wear the piece.

Despite, having been seen wearing her engagement ring less frequently in recent months, the Princess of Wales has continued to show her love and commitment to Prince William in other ways. She appears to have been regularly wearing the eternity ring he gifted her to celebrate Prince George’s birth. Crafted from 18ct white gold with a high-polish finish, the ring is adorned with 0.23ct of diamonds and retails for £1,500.

Recently, the Princess has also been spotted wearing two additional eternity rings – a slim white diamond band and a mixed sapphire and diamond band. While the former remains unidentified, it’s likely to be worth around £1,000, while the latter appears to be the Étincelle de Cartier wedding band. Featuring 19 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 0.24 carats and 19 brilliant-cut sapphires totalling 0.34 carats, the exquisite piece retails at £4,700.”
