A huge congratulations are in order for Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens, who tied the knot over the weekend!
The Team USA gymnast and NFL star had an intimate ceremony at a courthouse in Houston on Saturday – over a year after they got engaged at Brenner’s on the Bayou.
Simone has since told fans during an Instagram Story Q+A that the couple will be having a bigger wedding in a couple of weeks time, which will be a destination wedding. She also confirmed that there’s a SECOND set of wedding rings and FOUR more wedding dresses.

When did the couple get engaged?
The loved up couple announced their engagement in February after confirming their romance in August 2020.
Simone announced the couple’s engagement in an Instagram post on February 15, 2022, with a series of photos from the proposal, alongside the caption: “THE EASIEST YES I can’t wait to spend forever & ever with you, you’re everything I dreamed of and more! let’s get married FIANCÉ.”
Jonathan shared the same post on his own Instagram, alongside the caption: “Woke up this morning with a fiancée Appreciate my dawg @don_julio314 for helping me set everything up, she really had no clue what was coming @zofrost you went crazy on this one bro really made the night special.”

Jonathan proposed to Simone with an oval cut diamond engagement ring. The centre diamond appears to be around 8 carats and is sat on a pave band that features at least 35 smaller diamonds.
Our experts estimate the value of Simone’s engagement ring to be around $300,000 (£240k) – making it one of the most valuable celebrity engagement rings of 2022.

Jonathan’s first wedding ring appears to be an 8mm titanium band. After a quick search, we found that they can retail on Amazon at anything between $2.99 and $935.
Perfectly matching her sparkling engagement ring, Simone’s wedding ring appears to feature diamonds surrounding the entire circumference band – resembling a full band diamond eternity ring. A full diamond band from Amazon can retail from as little as $10.99 to as much as $7,320.
