The Kansas City Chiefs faced the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 59 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday 9th February 2025, with Kendrick Lamar headlining the half-time show.
While it wasn’t a victorious night for the Chiefs – with the Eagles storming to a 40-22 victory – it certainly was for the 22-time Grammy-winning rapper, whose performance will undoubtedly go down as one of the most important halftime shows in the history of the event.
Kendrick is no stranger to spectacular jewellery, and his collection is just as legendary as his music. One of our all-time favourites is the diamond-encrusted crown of thorns he wore during his Glastonbury headline performance. So, it came as no surprise to see him sporting a stunning array of diamond pieces during his Super Bowl appearance – most notably, an intriguing ‘a’ initial pendant.
Fine jewellery and diamond experts at UK retailer Steven Stone have analysed the pieces Kendrick wore, revealing all the details, including the jaw-dropping price tag for the entire collection.

Diamond Pins
The Grammy-winning rapper sported two stunning diamond pins from Rahaminov on his backwards baseball cap, adding an extra layer of luxury to his performance look. Both pieces are most likely crafted from platinum, giving them a sleek, high-end appeal.
The first pin, shaped like an angel wing, was adorned with marquise diamonds. Our experts estimate it to be worth around $30,000.
Positioned on the back of Kendrick’s cap, the second pin was Rahaminov’s Half Moon Sunset Diamonds design. This eye-catching piece features over 100 round-cut diamonds. Our experts estimate its value to be approximately $50,000.
Together, the two pins added up to a striking, yet refined statement of wealth and style.

Diamond Ring
On his right hand, Kendrick displayed a bold and massive diamond ring over his leather gloves, adding yet another eye-catching element to his performance look.
Crafted by his longtime collaborator, Eliantte, the ring is designed in the shape of an eye, with a sizable round-cut diamond at the center, encircled by a halo of smaller round diamonds. Flanking the eye are two striking pear-cut diamonds, enhancing the overall design.
Eliantte, a world-renowned high-end bespoke jeweler, is known for creating extraordinary pieces, and this ring is no exception. Taking its intricate design and exceptional craftsmanship into account, our experts estimate the ring’s value to be around $500,000.

Initial Necklace
Last but certainly not least is Kendrick’s striking necklace – featuring a thick platinum chain with a lowercase ‘a’ initial pendant, which appears to be set with diamonds.
This necklace has sparked significant controversy, with fans speculating that it may be a subtle nod to his ongoing feud with Drake. The speculation mainly revolves around the line “a minor” in Kendrick’s diss track ‘Not Like Us’, which was released in response to Drake’s swipe at him in ‘Family Matters’.
While it’s difficult to assign an exact value based solely on the available images, there’s no question that this is an impressive piece. Given that it comes from Eliantte, a renowned name in high-end, bespoke jewellery, the necklace undoubtedly carries a hefty price tag. Our experts estimate its worth to be around $400,000.

“One of the most celebrated rappers of his generation, Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime performance is destined to go down in history. Addressing themes of unity, purpose, and survival, his set transcended music – much like the dazzling diamonds he was wearing.
The Grammy-winning rapper was rocking two diamond pins from Rahaminov on his backwards baseball cap. Likely crafted from platinum, the first pin was shaped like an angel wing, featuring marquise diamonds – I’d estimate its value at around $30,000. On the back of Kendrick’s cap, he showcased Rahaminov’s Half Moon Sunset Diamonds pin, adorned with over 100 round-cut diamonds, I’d estimate its worth to be about $50,000.
On his right hand, Kendrick flaunted a massive diamond ring over his leather gloves. Crafted by his longtime collaborator, Eliantte, the ring takes the shape of an eye, with a sizable round-cut diamond at its centre, surrounded by a halo of smaller round cuts. Flanking the eye are two pear-cut diamonds. Given its design and craftsmanship, I’d estimate the ring to be worth around $500,000.
Last but certainly not least is Kendrick’s bold necklace, featuring a thick platinum chain attached to a lowercase ‘a’ initial pendant, which appears to be adorned with diamonds. Though it’s challenging to accurately value based on the available images, there’s no denying that it’s an impressive piece. As it’s from Eliantte, it’s sure to come with a hefty price tag. I’d estimate its worth to be around $400,000.
Altogether, Kendrick was dripping in an impressive $980,000 worth of jewels during his performance – truly a sight to behold and a reflection of both his style and status.”
